Eclipse pain in adding user libraries

Pain point: when you add a jar to a user defined library, eclipse expands the added jar and requires you to click on the parent library before allowing you to add another jar. Clearly the UI wasnt designed to do this. There must be a faster way to add, from the command line perhaps because this is too tedious especially when you are adding jars from frameworks like spring.
