Consultant

A consultant is either someone really really good, maybe the best in the field; or someone so hard to work with nobody wants to take the risk of hiring them as an employee. I just met over email a "consultant" who after I asked to teach and told him there was a membership fee to the dojo; he insulted me by derisive language and accusing me of being on commission. Better to avoid these people if possible; there is no possible upside to a relationship with this type of person when the gap of understanding is so large. Better to let them "consult" somewhere else. It would be better for their ego and for the morale of the people who would have to work with this person.
